Policies are general to objectives and cover them. As far as objectives are concerned in a company, they can be quarterly, on a semesterl basis or  annualy. For objectives, they desribe the overall vision of the institution as the summary of the target aimed at in the creation of a company. Policies supercede annually objectives.
