The problem might be two-fold. Suggest you disconnect the leads going to your window motor. Put a 12 volt DC meter on ion the leads and depress te switch. You may have to try a few combinations, but if you get 12 volts, suggest you change the motor.
Never bypass the pressure switches to manual engage the compressor. If high pressure the problem, then get it fixed. The problem you described can also be from a lack of refrigerant as well.
