I don't know if he 'discovered' it or not, but certainly he's a lousy captain for sure. How on earth can you possibly set sail for Asia and end up in bloody America? That's how many thousand miles apart? An error of gigantic proportions, yet he's hailed as a great sailor! Ridiculous!
