First of all NEVER give a dog chocolate the lighter it is the deadlier it could be if he has one chocolate bar it will get mildly sick but if you give her more then he would die

Yes it is perfectly fine we have 2 blue pits and we feed them the red bag of ol roy.  helps their teeth better to buy 50lb. Bag.  give them about half a dish of food or just leave some out all day and let them out side to run it off
