Well it depends on how you had it pierced (gun or needle ) because a gun is more likely to infect it because guns are only supposed to be used on ears not the body because they can't be sterelized. Well they did for me and one of my other friends but they don't for everyone, it depends where you go really. My friend who didn't have hers numbed said that it hurt but not much so it doesn't really matter.
