I was born Jewish however the Lord had other ideas for my life. I never went to Synagogue because my mother was lead to put me in a Christian church where I met Yeshua the Messiah at the age of eight. From that day the Lord started working through me to reach out to those around me with the good news of the Gospel. All through out school my peers would come and ask me questions about relationship and how to get out of the trouble they were in. I never gossiped or share stories about others. Their secret was kept between them and I and the Lord.
Over time I noticed that the Lord hsd started working through me to help others in a deeper way. After school I was called to the Military where I went into the navy to see the world. I traveled to many places both near and afar. Been as far as Iraq and Turkey and Japan, Philippines and chine on the other direction.
Wen I came out of the Navy I got married and then the Lord started putting his hand on me to call me to full time ministry. All through out my youth people and even strangers would tell me that the Lord was going to call me to ful time ministry and I would preach the Gospel. I listen but waited on the Lord.
In the year of 1983 the Lord's hand was the strongest on me and by December of that year I knew that he was calling me and the time was now.
Went full time a year later. I can remember when I was young the idea of being a preacher scared me to no end. The thought of leading other people into the truth held a great responsibility to me. It was not to be taken lightly. In the Old testament it took thirty years to make a priest and now a days we get there in four years and think were gonna take the world for the Kingdom. That have all of a sudden been God's gift to man for the kingdom and Glory of the Lord. This was not my idea of ministry. It was like becoming a celebrity or some one famous.
To me for the Lord to use some one they had to be humble and submissive to the Lord's will. It was not about me and what I have been give, but the people and how I could reach them.
Too much ministry that I see here in the USA is run like a business where they have lost their focus on what is important. Serving the people.
Ministry belongs to the Lord, it is his and we are nothing more than messengers through which he works. This is why I like what Paul said, that he was an ambassador for the Lord a representative of God to the people.
I have a global out reach and will be break ground for a new ministry in Kansas next year by the grace of God.
