1. Test for the two solutions’ electrical conductivity. Salt solution can conduct electricity while sugar solution cannot since salt is ionic compound while sugar is not. 2. Heat up the two solutions. There will be crystals formed in the salt solution while the sugar will be heated to carbon(black substances will be seen.)
