Usually 6-7 weeks old just put it in front of them if they eat it it's ok as long as they are not younger than 6 weeks.

Something that happens in order such as in the bible they first start with say...Abraham all the way down to Jesus the things that happened during that time are chronological events.

They are strong enough to stop at six weeks old, but I have had kittens try to nurse when they were 10-12 weeks but it is not necessary.
