Sometimes, "fluid" builds up in the cartilage for no apparent reason. I wouldn't be too concerned unless it gets worse.

Just keep it clean as much as possible! It will take a while and it's going to be hard especially on the lip. Everytime you eat or drink...I'd clean it...got a spray bottle?
