answered question 6/4/2008 What Does The Check Transaxle Warning Light Mean On A 2004 Ford Freestar? Just called Ford and they told me that its a problem with the transmission. My car's light just came on and I noticed engine hesitation. Bummer!! I have a 2001 Ford Taurus with 134k miles.
