In a grinder mix 1/2 cup of hot peppers and half cup of garlic cloves or onion or both. Its very effective home remedy to fight against pests.
Ammonia is effective on bed bugs for a shorter duration of time and is less effective. After a few days you will face the same problem. I would recommend using high heat to eliminate bed bugs or best option is experienced pests control experts. ;)
