Yes, especially large breeds, they grow so fast in such a short time. If your puppy seems to be in a lot of pain you should consult a vet as it could be something else - like hip dysplasia...

A good resource would be to try AKC.com - look at all the toy breeds and see what traits are similar to your pup. Of course this will not be a definitive answer, but might be fun to guess. Also any dog can be mixed with any other breed - purebred or mixed variety.
