I find Stephen King books to be very interesting, he is such an awesome writer.  Hope you find a book that you like.

I agree with everyone, you should just be yourself. If you are really that shy then maybe you should slip her a note and that could be your ice breaker and go from there.  Just remember if this doesn't work out there is more fish in the sea.
