Another more sinister method is to modify the host file... Browse to c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\host open it in notepad there should be an entry already for localhost that looks like this:
127.0.0.1 localhost

now all you have to do is add entries for sites you don't want your kids to go to such as myspace:
