When my small dog is in heat her pee pee gets swollen and has a dry blood ring around it.. N as for being comfortable she will do that on her own.. Just watch out she will get blood on couch's sheets.. Etc..

Nothing is wrong with her.. She is jus doin as she pleases and makes herself at home..

If it is a female dog it may be in heat if it is a male it might have an infection.. Same with female n might need to go to the vet..

Most likely she has an infection in them.. Do not let the babies get milk from her you will have to bottle feed them until they are old enough to drink on their own.. The infection will go away if that is the case.. And she will be able to breed again..
