I have a half brother, who does not know about me. My father left when i was an infant. I am afraid it might break his heart to find out his "perfect father" has another child that he abandoned. I feel if it were me, i would want to know?

I would, but my circumstances are completely different. I was hoping for someone that grew up in a two-parent family would answer and give me their opinion.

If your half-brother is an adult than I would suggest getting a hold of him but if he's still a minor you might want to think twice about telling him until he's of age.
