Sam, if you are friends with them outside of social media, then why don't you try and set something up with them instead of waiting for them to invite you? If you're trying to compete with Facebook, SnapChat, Instagram, etc., you're going to have an uphill battle.

I am 16 years old and 5ft8. My dad is 5ft11 and my mum is 5ft5. I have been in puberty since I was 12-13. I haven't had a growth spurt but all my friends have. My question is, will I have a growth spurt or am I growing steadily?

It is EXTREMELY likely that you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Everyone keeps growing until they are 20-21 years of age.
