You can, nothing wrong with that....if some happens to you, and you're unable to speak, the people treating you will know about your value repair.

I'm going to have a heart valve replacement or repair, not sure which. I'm a 25 year old female. Does anyone know what questions to ask or have any experience with this? Also I do have an appointment with the surgeon. I'm just anxious.

Sure! Any surgery could make you anxious, my gallbladder surgery made me anxious....so you're not alone! Things to ask....inquire about the surgery itself, ask what they will be doing to you, ask them to explain in laymens terms....if you don't understand, don't be afraid to tell them you don't understand and they will be happy … Read more
