My daughter is developmentally disabled, so I've been pretty sensitive about that over the years.  I mainly want her to be called a friend.

If I had a child I would want her to be called by her first name or middle name if we went by that. Sometimes they have a nickname that they use too but I would still want my child if I had one to be called by their first name.

I'd have liked my kids to be called geniuses but it never happened.
