The cliff has a similar height to an average building. There's an ocean that is next to the cliff. The ocean is way deeper than the cliff. If the person were to jump off the cliff and land in the ocean, would that person survive?

The average building where? I live in a small town and there are no buildings over two stories. If the cliff were to stories, it is easily survivable. However the average building in NYC is over 30 stories, and that would most likely not be survivable.
