My school has a new rule: hair cant be a 'extreme' color. My mate's hair has been bright red for 4 years, its now 'distracting'. People need to dye their hair so its 'normal' if not they will be sent home. Should my school be allowed to do this?

Personally, I think schools should be more concerned about educating students, and less worried about the color of their hair or their hairstyle.

Of course, I'm biased having rocked various colors and unusual hairstyles as a teenager, but society needs creative people too, so why stifle the individuality and self-expression of our future generation?

Male students in North Korea are required to get the same haircut as their leader Kim Jong-un...There are 28 state-approved hair styles in North Korea – the Kim Jong-un look is for students specifically.

Just do what your rulers tell you to do and everything will be OK.
