Well what I read (google) it said that if circulated they were 12-15 cents and if uncirculated they were 50 cents or more.

The U.S. Didn't mint nickels until 1866. What you probably have is a 2005 Westward Journey nickel. If the date 1805 is below a picture of some trees and the ocean, then it's indeed the modern coin and worth five cents.
It is seriously only worth five cents. That year is more common than the 2003 Jefferson Nickel.
There were over a billion nickels minted that year. It's worth 5 cents.
