Yes but if you look at the return on the effort for the founders - you cant beat it. Obviously it is not possible for everyone to set up a FB or Google but there are still opportunities online
I you dont think people will 'get it' they probably wont. The best names are the simple names that make it clear what you do - best to keep it simple, they are easier to remember. Names that don't make it clear require more marketing budget so that people get to know the brand.
