Thanks! I have heard that some people have reddish brown hair and do tan so maybe I'll remodel it in that direction. ;)
Unfortunately, red heads will only burn and peel because red heads do not have melanin in their skin which is what tans skin. So in other words unfortunately using a red head in your story wouldn't make sence with your storyline.
