Why do you put so many answers about squirrels on here?
Squirrels have special food just for them. You can go to a pet store and find squirrel food, formulated for them

I don't think there are any nuts that are harmful to squirrels. I feed my squirrels peanuts. I also give them stale bread loaded with chunky peanut butter from the $1 store. They love it and it puts weight on them for the winter!
They eat flower buds and some times bird seeds
The squirrel I'm feeding loves dried cranberries.
