Depends on the brand of soap... There are hand soaps made specifically to remove grease and some that aren't some dish soaps work well in removing grease some don't, and the same for shampoo...

I think shampoo because sometimes your hair gets dirty and greasy and you can take grease out with shampoo and it might work with other items too.
