Since moving into this apartment after ten months of homelessness, I have noticed that for the first time ever, I am not really making it into a home. It is comfortable and convenient, a base of operations. But things like wall hangings, organizing it for beauty and usefulness and just pure delight, those next steps are not happening. So I have been thinking about the meaning of home...and wondering about the experience of others?
