I would love to revisit my teens and young adulthood for a few days, but not permanently. At 73, I'm happy and blessed.
Which good old days are those? Sure I had fun when I was I younger, but I didn't have any money, so I was extremely limited in what I could do or where I could go. As I got older and had a little bit of money, I had a cheating boyfriend.
I am not complaining. I did have fun and it was great that I never woke up with a sore back because I slept wrong. But honestly I am still having fun. I have a faithful husband who loves me and I love him. I have a nice house, and if it weren't for the stupid covid crap, I would have just gotten back from a roadtrip from Florida, upto Iowa for a birthday party over to Mt. Rushmore, to the Blackhills and the Badlands and back to Florida. I am more happy with my life today. The only advantage to going back would be talking to friends and relatives who are no longer alive.
I can be nostalgic for sure but honestly I'd have to argue that I'm currently living the best years of my life up to this point.
Hello Autumn!
Yeah, I have days like that but not too often anymore.
Bet you haven't done any welding in a while! LOL
