When making an online promotional video, there are a couple of routes you can go down. You can make it yourself, or you can pay a company to do it for you. If you already have some camera equipment that you might be able to use, then I would suggest giving it a go yourself. I have made a few promo videos in my time, and I've always been happy with the results and the price. Sometimes, video companies charge way too much, and it just isn't worth it.
All you need to do is plan what you want to include in your video and record it. Also, ask around with your employees and see if anyone has a passion for video making, they may be able to help you with the editing. The one thing I would pay for is a voice-over. They never turn out great when you go down the DIY route, and voice-over rates aren't that high, so it's worth investing in a professional one.
