Have you ever written and composed music and lyrics to a song?

Nope. Never been interested in that kind of stuff. I don’t have a creative mind

I use to write poetry but never could create a song. My best friend can though!

I write poems, song lyrics too. Never composed music, but I play my own inside my head sometimes. Or drum it on a table.

Couldn’t carry a tune if I had to.

I played drums in a couple rock bands from my late teens through my early 30's. We mostly played cover tunes at clubs, events and taverns. We did have a few original songs in the one band I was in, but we wrote the lyrics as a group and  the music was just done by remembering chord progression and drum beat. None of us could actually write music on paper. I started drum lessons when I was about 8 and learned a little sheet music but I played by ear. I couldn't read sheet music  if my life depended on it.

Yes.  When I was a young teenager, my best friend and I would sit at the piano and compose the mushiest stuff imaginable .... And no, you will not ever see or hear any of it!  LOL  :)

Can't hold a tune for the life of me.
