Move to California... Problem solved. It never gets cold here! Lol!
DUH!!!! Here's a thought....... Turn the heater on.
It can be quite difficult to keep a caravan warm in winter. However, there are a few things you can do, such as:
- Leave the curtains open
Although it seems like shutting the curtains will keep your van warmer, it can actually lead to a build-up of condensation inside and stop light from getting in and warming the room. Leaving the curtains open during the day gives the sunlight a chance to stream in and warm the caravans.
- Install double glazing
Double glazing is a great way to improve the insulation in your caravan. I recently had this done by Sheppey Caravans, a company that offers caravan repairs in Kent. Double glazing can be helpful in winter and also reduces noise, which is an added bonus.
