Being an only child, and having no
sister to share my stress with, I had to plan everything with my friends. I am
extremely grateful to God for granting me with a set of such helpful friends
who never let me feel like I was alone in this. The process of planning a
wedding is tiring and stressful but I wanted to make sure I had fun! So I
started organizing everything early to make my dream wedding a reality. Here
are a few steps that you should follow to make your fairytale wedding an
organized event:
·
Set your budget: Believe you me,
setting up budget for everything makes things much easier. You know your limits
and you certainly don’t go overboard.
·
Set a wedding planning timetable:
You need to allocate your time to different things in a alanced way. A
timetable is extremely helpful in this regard. You can either download an app
or make a journal to organize everything beforehand.
·
Create guest list: Thinking about
which guest to invite and which to cut off is a hard job. With a set budget,
you would know who you prioritize to attend your wedding.
·
Book venue: Venues are hard to find
as the final day approaches. I booked mine 6 months before the wedding dates
and even then had limited venues that were available. Make sure to keep this
task on top!
·
Book vendors: Go through different
vendors before you hire the one you like. I did a thorough market research
before ending up with my vendors
·
Wedding dress: One of the most
difficult tasks in planning your wedding is finalizing your wedding dresses.
This was one tiring task but after spending a long time on the internet and
roaming through the markets, I ended up having the dress of my dreams. Start
early so you have time to get it ready!
