Think I have ADHD. Asked mother but she dismissed it. I’m 12 and can’t think of how to ask to get tested. Please help!
Your mother needs to stop guessing at what your problem is and take you to see a real doctor for a diagnosis.
Your mother is not helping you guessing. I doubt she talked to a psychiatrist , they don’t diagnose someone like that.
Well, if you told your mother you had ADHD and that was her response, let's be clear---such a response is irresponsible.
Health care providers, such as pediatricians, psychiatrists, and child psychologists, can diagnose ADHD with the help of standard guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics or the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM). The diagnosis involves gathering information from several sources, including schools, caregivers, and parents. The health care provider will consider how a child's behavior compares with that of other children the same age, and he or she may use standardized rating scales to document these behaviors.

No self-respecting medical professional would diagnose ADHD in a minor without observing and evaluating the patient.
Tell your mother you want an appointment with a psychiatrist certified in child and adolescent psychiatrist.
Hang in there---ADD and / or ADD is difficult to manage without getting some simple help from specialists who treat it.
