Well, I like all three options. (Have been known to eat peanut butter with a spoon.)
I have been known to put 2 tablespoons of peanut butter in a 3oz cup, grab a glass of milk and a plastic spoon (so the cup doesn't tip over), and take a short break.
All animals should be protected---including horses and pigs.
