Tempura is a fun dinner with guests. Sort of like a fondue dinner. You make a lovely batter, have a pot of oil going and you dip, cook, eat all while visiting. No small children or animals a foot. Prawns and zucchini wheels are my favorite tempura dippers.  I also put out dipping sauces, fried rice, chow mein. Dessert is homemade Almond cookies.

I love tempura veggies .... Once my husband and I made a huge variety including zucchini, mushrooms, green beans, onions, carrots, asparagus, etc.  It was a feast!  Also, I really like my Wild Wing Duck bobble head.
