I was a fetus
I was still a glint in my father's eyes.
I was two yrs old wandering why everyone was crying
Who's John Kennedy?
Lol! Just playing my dear friend. ☺
It happened 39 years before I was born, and past life me was living in Bangladesh and probably didn't hear about it. :)
But seriously I find the Kennedy assassination fascinating, also because I find JFK himself fascinating. I can't imagine how people must have felt when they found out the President had been assassinated. So many important figures were assassinated in the 60s.
I had just turned 18. I drove part of the route the motorcade was to take about a half hour before the route was closed to regular traffic. It was the most direct way to get to the interstate 35 North.
Due to the one-way streets in downtown Dallas, one had to make a left in front of the School Book Depository to access the interstate..
I noticed that only one window in the building was open on the front side. I remember thinking that was unusual---I frequently had to drive past that building and the windows were always closed. And, yes, it was the window from which Lee Harvey Oswald fired.
There was no way assisination would have entered my mind; but when I found out later where the shots came from, I wondered why it didn't occur to any of the police officers who must have seen it open.
I was a kid of abt 7 when he died. All I remember is my mother watching the funeral on tv
Yes. I was in History class when it came over the intercom that President Kennedy had been shot. The teacher burst out in tears and the rest of us sat at our desks quietly while tears rolled down our faces.
I was in my College German I audio lab practicing German. Friend came in and told me - spent the rest of the day on the Student Union listening to the news broadcast over the PA.Â
I was on a US Air Force plane bound for Vietnam. We were told about it over our headsets.
