I love them and have replaced all of my CFL bulbs inside and outside my house. They cost less to operate, last for up to 10 years and throw no heat at all. I even bought the 4 foot LED tube bulbs to replace the old fashioned fluorescent bulbs.
What is your opinion about LED light bulbs versus compact fluorescent bulbs ?
I replaced all the light fixtures in my mom's house with LED fixtures. Total cost was under $300.
They are smaller and brighter ... Which makes any room seem larger. And they say they are good for 50,000 hours. Which would be over 20 years, if used for 8 hours/day ... And my mom doesn't use lights that much, even in the winter. So they will last longer than she'll ever need.
