They are not fond of it since, you must understand their level of hearing is already SO much more then ours . . . So when a loud bang goes off and leaves our ears ringin, it can actually hurt and harm them.

The dog that I have now is the first of my dogs that isn't bothered at all by fireworks.
We're far from the big shows, but periodically a neighbor will have some Roman candles and firecrackers. The cats don't seem to mind. Earl sometimes hides. He is more afraid of thunder. The bird will give a squawk, but she does that all the time anyways.
They really upset our little dog - untilhe got older and deafer. Then no problem.
Any loud noise bothers both my dogs. Fireworks, thunder, construction noises.
