What character roll would be so totally and completely different if another actor/ress played that roll? (For example I read the creators of Golden Girls originally had Betty White for the roll of "Blanche")
Jack Nicholson turned down the role of Michael Corleone in the Godfather. Glad he did, I can't picture anyone but Al Pacino in that role.
Tom Selleck was the original choice to be Indiana Jones. Can anyone imagine that role NOT played by Harrison Ford?
Sean Connery turned down the role of Gandalf the Wizard in the Lord of the Rings movies . . . So glad he did.
I like him, but as Bond.
I'm trying to picture Wally Cox instead of Clark Gable as Rhett Butler in Gone With The Wind. LOL
