When I was in elementary school, I did. It seemed like a met a new person every year with the same name. I never picked a new name but I just went a derivative of my name. Most people who have known me for 30 years or more still call me that. Newer friends call me my given name or PJ.
No, I've always been happy with my name. When my daughter was about seven, she used to call herself "Valerie", the name of one of her friends at school. I guess she liked the sound of it. :)
Mythos
I gave some serious thought to changing my name to Hippy but my wife shot that down. Everyone calls me Hippy, except my family.
No,I'm content with my given name.
Nah, I'm okay being Cameron, even if it's now unfortunately also a girl's name lol.
I never liked my name growing up.... Til I got older and more sentimental. When we began naming our children I realized just how special a name can be.
But to answer your question as a kid I always wanted a normal name like "Jenny" or "Ashley" (which was 2 names I remember wishing I had.)
Yeah, I've always liked the name " Ramona ". Not sure why but I like it.
Nope I'm happy with mine.
My sister called me throttle when i was young so. I still go with that
