I hardly ever get insomnia. On the rare occasion, I just get up and put the TV on, late night TV is enough to bore me to sleep.
I got this:
[ ] sex
[ ] warm milk
[ ] avoid electronics /computer one hour before sleep
[ ] say the word " Stop!" ... Out loud...works like a charm for me.
[ ] start with your toes and progressively keep tightening and tensing body parts as you make your way up to your head. Once everything has been tensed.....ah... Let it all go and relax.
[ ] meditate and picture yourself beside a slow moving river. Lay down next to it in your mind. Pick up a flower and place all worries on it and let it go onto the waters to flow away.
[ ] write things down on a note pad. Sometimes the worry of forgetting something keeps me up
[ ] a white noise player. Love the crickets that mine has
[ ] a small sip or two of alcohol does the trick.
[ ] vanilla ice cream...think its the calcium
[ ] check your toes and heels. They should be flopped and relaxed. I can guarantee you, you can not fall asleep with your toes pointed up
[ ] a good massage
[ ] a warm bath
[ ].....Good night 😴
Normally, I get up and read. I know that I will probably be up in a few hours to get ready for work and I know that there's no need to stress over missing a couple of hours of sleep. Usually I've got something on my mind so if I start to read something, it sometimes will come bubbling up to the surface. Then I can write down what's bothering me and see if I can't find a solution.

I take 50mg of Seroquel for sleeping. I usually doze off about 11:30-12.. I rarely ever stay up all night.
(i never had a problem going to sleep, it was mainly staying asleep-- every morning i'd wake up about 2:30- 3am, stay up until 6:30-and than fall asleep until 9). now i sleep from 11:30-12ish to 7:30-8:00.
Deep breathing, with cleansing breathes . . . I sometimes roll some scented oil on my chest called "King's Curse" . . . Bought it Salem at a Witch Store . . . Love that stuff . . .
I play my old-time radio cd's and close my eyes and listen. They take my mind off of the cares of the day.
Hi there! I rarely suffer from insomnia, but if it happens, I will simply spend the time playing games on my phone. If that’s not enough, I will login to my networks accounts and scroll through the feeds. To boot, reading can help, but I also noticed that hot drinks like tea, water or chocolate can work pretty well!
