The best thing was being raised in a loving and encouraging household.
They taught me lessons that seemed unfair at the time ... But were necessary in order to live on my own.
Dont steal rob cheat
To love life.
In a nut shell being the only child of elderly parents the ttaught me all the skills I would need to survive onย my own, from sewing to money management and cooking to basic plumbing and electrical skills before I was 18.
I wish my parents would have fed me a better diet because i've struggled with obesity until i was 14 which later turned into eating disorders and anorexic tendencies etc. Throughout the rest of my teens and 20's.. But i don't blame them since they don't know how to take care of themselves, my dad has always been 350+pounds since i could remember.. But thankfully i've never reached that high but my highest weight still had a negative impact on my life because i'll never get to experience what its like to have a nicer body (i'll never get to go on a beach shirtless, i'll never know what its like to wear awesome clothes) your body just doesn't bounce back.. But its not bad either (like you see on those extreme weight loss shows etc.)
Wouldn't know!
Actually, my mom and maternal grandparents raised me .... And their unconditional love for me was the best thing that could happen to a child.
They taught me to be an honest person.
They raised me to believe in myself and to know if I applied myself I could do anything I wanted. They were clear that if I wanted something I would have to work for it and that life wasn't always fair.
