I was shopping for dog treats in Gabe's and the lady behind me told me that I smelled good. That really made me smile and feel good. Maybe I'll shower more often than once every two months now.
I have a special story of how each of you here have greatly impacted my life. Most of you never know the extent to what your words have been in my life. Thank you my friends. 😊
Yes, and because of that I try really hard to pay that forward.
A smile has made a huge difference to me many times.
Didge has a lovely story about a beautiful young woman smiling at him one fine day. It made all the difference to him , he still remembers it so fondly to this day, that hearing him recount it makes you feel as if you were there.
Each and every time I save a life,
it make a big impact on my day.
All life is sacred and cannot be replaced.
On Monday I was breaking up a section of sidewalk to replace. When I put the jackhammer down and turned the compressor off, I turned around and coming towards me was a little girl around 4 or 5 years old. She was holding up with both hands a glass of ice water for me. I thanked her and ask what her name was. It was Angel. I gave her $2 and she had the biggest smile. The next day I had a helper to pour the concrete and Angel made sure we both got some ice water. I made sure Angel got another $2 from each of us.
I watched as a stranger paid for another person's groceries. It wasn't a huge grocery bill but still it was nice.
The do gooder was a younger person which was nice to see.
Standing in line to buy my son some groceries, we watched a panicked look come across the college student in line as the clerk told him how much and he started patting his pockets in his jacket. He asked the clerk if he could hold the groceries for 30 minutes while he ran to his friends dorm to grab the wallet he left . . . We told him, it all set, we would get his groceries. He told us that he needed our address to send us the money and we said, "Its a gift. . . . If you feel like it, do something for someone down the line. "
His beaming face was gesture enough to make our entire day.
