how much tiles for a 120sq ft if I use 20x20 tiles?

About 42 tiles.

Yes, hopefully he/she knows that. My answer was also based on a 1/4 inch grout line.

I've never installed ceramic tile. I learned about the 10% when I bought tile (the vinyl type) to be installed many years ago.
