Do you have a creative craft, hobby, design or invention you enjoy making and giving away to people?
My grandmother began the tradition of crocheting afghans for all the family members. I love carrying on for the next generations.
I make polished copper pipe steampunk lamps. I give some away for gifts and I sell some.
Right now, the Sycamore trees are getting their huge leaves eaten and they look like lace leaves. They drop off, I pick them up, steam them flat, spray paint them and make wall art from them. I made a couple for my walls and got requests to make three more for others.
It's been a long time since I've done any, but I used to embroider monograms on pillow cases and crochet the edges for my friends and family.
I've done quite a few pet portraits. Unfortunately a lot of people approach me to paint a pet portrait after the pet has passed away. One lady was happy that I could accommodate her. I incorporated a touch of the cremation ashes into her painting. It disolves well with the water and acrylics.
I would much rather meet the pet, take some photos and then paint the portrait.
Spiritual music.
Like echooo I canned fruits and vegetables for the family. Loved giving it away.
Crossed stitched so many pictures I couldn't tell you how many. Almost every picture in my house I did.
