Yesterday I recieved a colorful content warning sticker on here for trying to innocently use the word *hug*. It blocked me. Do you get these as well?

I've actually had to re-word some of my answers because the system wouldn't let me submit with a word like "rear".  Never could figure out that logic.

It's happened to me a few times, always for innocent words that weren't in "foul" content.

I found that if you just delete word and submit your answer, you can edit the answer and you can put in the word that you originally wanted, without getting the warning.

Nope, and I've seriously tested some content on here.

The Mods must be crazy.

Considering some of the absolute inanity that shows up here, it's preposterous that a word so innocuous as   ➡️HUG⬅️  (That's right, I said it! Now what? 😝) would trigger a warning.

The system used to (and possibly still does) object to references to a well-known social media website starting with "face" and ending with "book". Back in the day, when Blurtit had many thousands of members, of course, that particular site was a competitor to the mix of social media and Q&A that Blurtit provided, so it made sense (sortof).
