I like everything about this day! I eat avocados a couple of times a week and love raspberries too .... And I certainly love our own adorable mutt. :)

I love avocados. Half the avocado, then remove the pit. Leave the skin on and lightly cross hatch without cutting thru the skin. Invert the skin and viola...cubes ready to eat.

Nothing like a day without blending avocados into a rich smoothie. Especially in this heat. It's one of the last nutritious fruit on this planet next to Bananas.

Well, Otis I have just learned something new---to wit: Every day is not national avocado day. (In my house, we think every day deserves to be national avocado day.)
Never had raspberry cake, but I love raspberry preserves---it's about the only preserves I usually eat.
Mutts and purebreds---all the same to me, although some of the dogs in the shows have confirmation that truly sets them apart---just as we recognize a beautiful woman or a handsome man among us mutt like humans.
