Not enough to keep me there. Couldn't wait to find a better place, and there are a lot of them.
We moved so much, I didn't have just one place. Because of that I'll say the people I met.
I grew up in farm country, with a little town within about a 2 mile walk from my house. It was friendly, close knit, no locks on doors, dogs ran loose and a one car garage was the norm.
I grew up in a small town. Wherever you went you ran into someone you knew. It is located about 30 minutes from the beach and 20 minutes from springs. And grew up across the street from a lake. So much of my youth was spent in a swimsuit.
hmm a southern state crawfish and warm weather. That's all I got.
The mountains. I'm still in the area I grew up.
It's beautiful, warm, right by the ocean. It's a special place and I'm glad to live here :)
It's home!
Large fields full of tall grass . . . The perfect wrap around porch to watch lightening from on a warm summer's day. The best roads to ride bikes on, with a great General Store that had the latest comic books, candy, ice cream and soda.
Some of the most fondest memories I have.
I'm still there- the smell of the sea is what I miss most when I'm away.

It's a farm I was very much attached to. Nuff said.
It was right around the corner from my childhood friend, my sister was still alive, my other sisters baby shower, oh yah and the creepy tree that ended up growing in the bathtub drain! Lol!
Different star patterns, color of the sky,
and the people.
Hello Roy! Everything is special about it and that’s mostly due to the fact that my parents also grew up there and so did my grandparents! Growing up in a coastal area was also very memorable. The preserved nature, the beaches, rivers and people all contributed to make things unforgettable!
