A flowing stream or river over rocks, that's the best natural sound. Best man-made sound would have to be the sound of a piano.

When you call your dog and you hear the little pap pap pap of their feet. Also, music.

At the end of the day, when the household has been put to rights, everyone is fed and tucked away, the silence that descends in the house is a wonder to behold.
