I'm getting insecure about this girl who's prettier than me. It makes me afraid that the person I like will notice her. What should I do?

Too late he has already noticed me, given me his cell, friended me on FB, given me a friendship ring and invited me over to meet his mom.

You should peacefully move on.

I'll invite you to our wedding and later our baby showers :)

Pretty is far from being the most important thing about a person. Be kind. Be smart. Be friendly. Have a sense of humor, especially one where you can laugh at yourself when called for. That is what is more likely to get a young man's attention.

There's nothing you can do, a guy will either like you for you or he won't, and unless he is shallow his attraction will not be simply based on looks.  Don't let yourself become ugly with envy.

It's time to grow up and understand there will always be SOMEBODY prettier, funnier, taller, thinner, more interesting than you .. We all have that exact same problem. If by chance, you meet someone special .. You should not put so much faith in your looks to attract his attention ..  Because if it's only look he likes .. He will just end up being shallow and not worth having. Focus your attention of substance rather than what's on the surface. Trust the  person and individual you are to gain someone's attention .. Least of all your looks.

Beauty is only skin deep.

I have met some good looking people,

That only cared about them selves.

Then I've met some not so good looking people,

that are so beautiful inside that I would proud to

call them my friend.

Don't be afraid to be yourself around them, as hard as it can sometimes be.  There's no point in him loving someone that you're not.
